Hezbollah’s military media issued a series of successive statements on Saturday, March 28, 2026, announcing the implementation of military operations against the positions and deployment of the Israeli army in southern Lebanon and northern Palestine.
In Statement No. (26), the party stated that at 15:30 a “Merkava” tank was targeted in the town of Bayada with a guided missile, confirming that a direct hit had been achieved.
In Statement No. (27), the party stated that after spotting an Israeli force stationed inside two houses west of the Al-Hazan area in the town of Qantara, it was targeted at 16:30 with guided missiles, and it confirmed that direct casualties had occurred.
As stated in Statement No. (28), the party announced a clash with light and medium weapons with an Israeli force on the western outskirts of the town of Shamaa at 16:30, indicating that direct casualties had been achieved.
In Statement No. (29), the party confirmed the targeting of a new artillery position for the Israeli army in the town of Arab al-Louizeh near Ghajar at 17:30 with a barrage of rockets and artillery shells, announcing that confirmed casualties had been achieved.
In Statement No. (30), the party announced that it had targeted the “Nashrim” base, southeast of Haifa, at 07:30 with a group of attack drones.
In Statement No. (31), the party announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in Baidar al-Faqaani – the town of Taybeh at 06:00 with a barrage of missiles.
As for Statement No. (32), it indicated that a series of attacks were carried out on Saturday dawn on Israeli gatherings and vehicles in the town of Taybeh, between 03:00 and 05:10 on the road to Baidar al-Nahr and the Litani Project, with a barrage of successive missiles.
It was also announced in Statement No. (33) that a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in Khallet al-Ain – the town of Qantara was targeted at 04:00 with a barrage of missiles.
At the same time, the military media published video clips that it said documented the targeting of a “Merkava” tank in the vicinity of Birkat Dibal, in addition to scenes of the targeting of the “Meron” base in northern Palestine with a swarm of attack drones.
These operations come in light of the ongoing field escalation on the southern front, with the expansion of the scope of confrontations between Hezbollah and Israel, and the intensification of mutual attacks in the border villages and the vicinity of military sites inside the occupied Palestinian territories, amid fears that the situation will deteriorate into a broader confrontation.
