The scope of the escalation expanded: an air strike targeted a house in Mieh Mieh, near Sidon

Information reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Mieh Mieh camp in the Sidon district, and it was found that the house belonged to a person named Salim Akl, who was linked to the Hamas movement.

The reporter also stated that the air attack resulted in severe damage to the house that was targeted, and resulted in the death of two people, amid a state of high alert in the region, while the final number of victims has not been determined yet.

This bombing is considered part of the expansion of the scope of military operations, as the air strikes went beyond the south to include other areas, which indicates a noticeable escalation in the intensity of the attacks.

For several hours, Lebanon has witnessed a major escalation, including a series of Israeli raids that targeted the south, the Bekaa, and the suburbs. These raids targeted infrastructure, bridges, and residential homes, in an attempt to obstruct supply and transportation lines, amid warnings of the expansion of the circle of conflict.
