The official responsible for the resources and borders file in Hezbollah, Mr. Nawaf al-Moussawi, explained that any war on Iran “will be without borders,” stressing that the Islamic Republic is defending itself.
Al-Moussawi stated that Iran is directing “severe strikes” against Israel, considering that the party, in turn, is exercising the right of self-defense in the face of what he described as aggression.
He also pointed out that Israel’s continued occupation of more lands provides the resistance fighters with wider opportunities to target its soldiers, adding that ground battles represent an opportunity, not a threat.
In another context related to local affairs, Al-Moussawi considered the Lebanese government’s decision illegal, expressing his opinion that the current ruling authority “lacks political experience, wisdom and sophistication.”
In conclusion, he stressed that what is important for the party is what is achieved on the ground, considering that “the enemy will not negotiate with someone who has no connection to reality,” and that what is most important is continuing to resist what he called the occupation.
