The American company “Meta” officially announced the launch of its new program, “Creator Fast Track”, on the Facebook platform, with the aim of attracting top content makers from the TikTok and YouTube platforms, by providing meaningful financial incentives and a significant increase in penetration rates.
Financial temptations that challenge competitors
According to the official statement published by Meta, the program offers a “guaranteed monthly salaries” system for three months to creators who enjoy a wide fan base on competing platforms, and the rewards are distributed as follows:
– $3,000 per month: for content creators who have more than a million followers on TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram.
– $1,000 per month: for those with a follower base ranging between 100,000 and one million followers.
Additional amounts: ranging between $100 and $450 for categories that have between 20 and 100 thousand followers, according to a report by Social Media Today.
Facilitated conditions to ensure flow
A report by Android Headlines explained that benefiting from these amounts does not require content exclusivity, as Meta allows creators to republish their clips from Reels on other platforms, provided that they are original and free of competitors’ watermarks. The program requires publishing at least 15 clips per month, spread over 10 different days.
Record numbers in support for creators
This initiative comes after Meta announced strong financial performance for the creator sector in 2025, as Reuters revealed that the company paid nearly $3 billion to content makers over the past year, an increase of 35% from 2024. The data indicated that short video clips alone accounted for 60% of these payments.
With the aim of enhancing the confidence of creators, Facebook introduced new metrics in the “Professional Dashboard”, including “Eligible Views for Monetization” and “Earnings Rate per 1,000 Views”, to help creators understand how to turn audience interaction into tangible financial return, according to the “Media Post” website.
Analysts see the Creator Fast Track program as a recognition by Meta that quality content is key to staying ahead. Instead of waiting for creators to grow organically, the company decided to buy their time and fanbase to ensure Facebook’s supremacy in the short-form video era. (Al Jazeera Net)
