
Huawei announced a new smartphone that aims to compete with the most prominent phones currently available, thanks to its high specifications and advanced imaging capabilities.
The new “Mate 80 Pro Max” phone features an elegant body design made of high-quality materials, in addition to its water and dust resistance according to the IP68 and IP69 standards. The phone’s dimensions are (164.4/79/8.3) mm, while its weight reaches 239 grams.
The phone is equipped with a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED screen, with a display resolution of (1320/2848) pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to a brightness of up to 8000 nits, and a pixel density of about 455 pixels per inch. The screen supports HDR Vivid technology to provide an exceptional video viewing experience.
The device runs on the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system, a Kirin 9030 Pro processor, and a Maleoon 935 graphics processor, along with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB and 1 TB of internal storage.
The phone’s main camera includes four (50+50+50+40) megapixel lenses, including a periscope telephoto lens and an ultrawide lens, while the front camera comes with a 13-megapixel resolution.
Huawei supported its new phone with two SIM ports, a USB Type-C 3.1 port, an NFC chip, a fingerprint scanner built into the screen, Infrared technology to control electronic devices remotely, and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 100-watt ultra-fast charging, in addition to the ability to fast wireless charging with a capacity of 80 watts.
