The German club Hamburg imposed an “unprecedented” disciplinary penalty on its French player, Jean-Luc Dombey. The punishment requires the player to provide ten thousand fluorescent jackets and distribute them to schools and child care homes in the region.

The details of the incident go back to last January, when “Dumbi” was arrested while driving his car while drunk, and then other charges were brought against him after he left the police station using a small electric bike.
