The southern front is witnessing increased activity, as Hezbollah announced that it was carrying out a series of missile attacks and attacks using drones, today, Friday, within the framework of what it called “defending Lebanon and its people” and the warning it had previously issued to a number of settlements located in northern occupied Palestine.
The Islamic Resistance issued successive statements today, Friday, announcing the implementation of eight military operations targeting Israeli settlements and military sites, in a continuing escalation on the northern front.
Statement No. (5) stated that the Kiryat Shmona settlement was targeted at 09:00 with a barrage of missiles, while Statement No. (2) stated that the Yiftah settlement was also targeted with a barrage of missiles at 09:30, in the context of the warning it had previously issued to a number of settlements in occupied northern Palestine.
It was also stated in Statement No. (9) that the Hanita settlement was targeted by a barrage of missiles at 10:00.
At 11:00, Statement No. (6) announced the targeting of the Yaara Barracks with a swarm of attack drones, before Statement No. (7) announced the targeting of the Matat Barracks at 12:00 with a similar swarm of drones.
Statement No. (3) stated that a gathering of Israeli enemy army soldiers in Khiam City was targeted by a barrage of missiles at 12:15.
Statement No. (8) announced that the Ramot Naftali settlement was targeted with a barrage of missiles at 12:20, while Statement No. (4) indicated that the Shomera settlement was targeted with a barrage of missiles at 12:35, in the same warning context.
The resistance stressed in its statements that these operations come “in defense of Lebanon and its people,” in light of the continuing confrontations and mutual bombing across the border.
This timeline of operations shows a noticeable escalation in the frequency of attacks during the morning and noon hours, with open clashes continuing along the southern front.
