Google is developing artificial intelligence to provide personalized responses

Google announced the introduction of an innovative idea called “Personal Intelligence,” whose purpose is to develop search systems and digital assistants so that they can better understand the specific circumstances of each user, instead of simply providing general responses. The company explained in an official blog post that this trend allows providing customized responses based on the user’s information and activities across various Google services, such as “Gmail,” “Google Photos,” “YouTube,” and search history, provided that the user agrees to activate this feature.

The new system allows artificial intelligence models, such as “Gemini” and the artificial intelligence feature in search, to link information in different applications to provide recommendations, summaries, and suggestions that are more appropriate to the user. Google indicated that the user can control the features, choose the applications he would like to connect, or turn off the feature completely, while emphasizing that personal data is not used to train artificial intelligence models, but only to provide background information during interaction with the user.

Through “Personal Intelligence,” Google aims to find a balance between in-depth personalization and privacy protection, as systems can provide accurate suggestions based on the user’s interests and digital behavior, which improves the search and digital assistance experience and reduces the need to repeatedly enter the same data.

The launch of “Personal Intelligence” represents a leap towards a new generation of artificial intelligence systems that combine research, digital assistance, and deep personalization, with a focus on clarity in dealing with data and giving the user greater control over their privacy, a shift that may change the way individuals interact with technology in their daily lives.
