A tragic initial toll of victims between the “Corniche massacre” and the Aramoun raids...

Israeli raids continue to target various Lebanese areas, resulting in new casualties, including martyrs and wounded. This time, these attacks extended to the capital, Beirut, and Mount Lebanon, which represents a dangerous escalation that expands the scope of targeting outside the border areas.

The Ministry of Public Health announced that the Israeli raid on the Ramlet al-Bayda Corniche area in Beirut led to the death of 8 people and the injury of 31 others, in one of the most severe attacks that the capital witnessed during the past few hours.

Initial information indicates that the raid targeted the area around the Ramlet El Bayda Corniche, which sparked panic among residents. Ambulance and civil defense teams rushed to the site to transport the injured and evacuate them to nearby hospitals.

In another development, the Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli raid that targeted the “Aramoun” area in the Aley district resulted in the death of 3 people and the wounding of a child.

Following these raids, the targeted areas witnessed a state of intense alert by ambulance and civil defense teams, while the relevant agencies worked to secure the areas surrounding the attack sites and conduct combing and search operations in anticipation of the presence of more injured people.

These raids come as part of a major military escalation witnessed in the Lebanese arena in recent hours, as Israeli aircraft intensified their raids on various areas in the south and the Bekaa, in addition to the southern suburb of Beirut and areas in Mount Lebanon.

Over the past two days, many areas have witnessed repeated Israeli raids, coinciding with the launch of missiles and operations announced by Hezbollah as part of a series of “destructive bombing” operations, as part of the ongoing military confrontation with Israel.

The expansion of the scope of attacks to include the capital, Beirut, and its surroundings raises increasing fears that the confrontation is entering a more dangerous phase, especially with the rising number of victims and increasing targeting in civilian areas with high population density.
