Double attack on Israel: Missiles from Iran and Hezbollah force millions to take cover

On Thursday morning, Israel witnessed a noticeable military escalation represented by a double missile attack coming from Iran and Lebanon. This attack led to the activation of sirens in large areas of the country, forcing residents to take shelter in shelters.

The “Israeli Home Front” announced the launch of missiles from Iran towards central Israel, coinciding with the launch of other missiles from Lebanon that targeted the northern regions.

The Home Front indicated that sirens sounded in various areas such as Greater Tel Aviv, central Israel, and the southern coastal plain, in addition to the city of Haifa and other areas in the north. Emergency teams rushed to various locations in anticipation of missiles or shrapnel.

In a related context, Israeli media reported a joint missile attack carried out simultaneously by Iran and Lebanon, which represents a new escalation in the ongoing military confrontation in the region.

The newspaper “Israel Hayom” also reported that Israeli air defense systems succeeded in intercepting missiles launched from Lebanon towards the city of Haifa.

For its part, the “Israeli Ambulance Service” announced that a number of injuries were recorded as a result of the stampede while residents were heading to shelters, and confirmed that there have been no direct injuries so far due to the falling rockets.

At the same time, Iranian media reported that the Aviation College in the city of Isfahan in central Iran was targeted, as part of the mutual military escalation between Tehran and its opponents in the region.

This attack comes in light of the expansion of the scope of the military confrontation between Israel on the one hand, and Iran and its allies on the other hand, with the continued exchange of missile strikes and air strikes on multiple fronts in the Middle East region.
