Early Tuesday morning, Hezbollah announced that it was carrying out a series of military operations against Israeli army sites and concentrations along the border line and deep inside Israel, as a response to the Israeli strikes that targeted various areas in Lebanon.

The party explained in successive statements that its fighters, at exactly 00:05 a.m. on Tuesday, targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and vehicles at the newly established site in the town of Markaba with a barrage of missiles.

The party added that at exactly 00:35 in the morning, the “Geva” drone control base located east of the city of Safed was targeted with a missile, which it described as qualitative.

The party also announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in the Al-Khanouk area in the town of Aitaroun with artillery shells at exactly 01:15 am.

In another statement, the party stated that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli army forces in the Kahil Heights on the eastern outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras with a barrage of rockets at exactly 01:20 in the morning.

The party indicated that at exactly 01:30 am, the Yiftah Barracks was targeted with a missile strike, and it was later announced that an artillery emplacement near the Al-Marj site opposite the town of Markaba was targeted with a missile strike at 01:40 am.

The party also announced that it had carried out an operation yesterday evening, Monday, at 18:30, targeting the “Tel Hashomer” base, southeast of Tel Aviv, which is about 120 kilometers from the Lebanese border, using two attack drones.

The party confirmed that these operations come in response to the Israeli raids that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns and the southern suburb of Beirut.

These operations come in the context of a broad military escalation on the Lebanese-Israeli front, as the past few days witnessed an intensification of Israeli raids that targeted multiple areas in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa, and the southern Beirut suburb.

The raids also targeted many towns in the south, including “Ansariya,” “Joya,” “Qalawiya,” “Tayr Dibba,” “Beit Lev,” “Srifa,” “Zawtar al-Sharqiya,” “Khiyam,” “Qantara,” and “Majdal Zoun,” in addition to areas in Hermel and the Bekaa.

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced in recent days that it had carried out a series of military operations with missiles and drones targeting military sites and bases inside Israel, as part of the escalating confrontation between the two parties along the southern border.
