German club Bayern Munich has shown a desire to sign the young Tunisian player Louay Ben Farhat, with the aim of strengthening the team’s squad in preparation for the next season.
It appears that the Bavarian giants will be in a race with other European clubs to sign the talented player, who currently plays for Karlsruhe in the German second division.
Ben Farhat is 19 years old and has the ability to play as a winger or as a late striker.
He excelled this season by scoring 5 goals and assisting 2 more goals in 11 matches with his team.
He also participated in 3 matches with the Tunisian U-20 national team.
German press reports stated that Bayern Munich officials are monitoring Ben Farhat’s performance in Karlsruhe’s matches, especially the last match against Dynamo Dresden, which ended in a 3-3 draw, in which Ben Farhat scored a goal for his team.
For his part, Timon Powell, sporting director of Karlsruhe, explained that the German club aspires to obtain an amount ranging between 10 and 12 million euros if the sale of the player is approved, given the interest of other clubs in his services, such as “Borussia Dortmund” and “Eintracht Frankfurt”, in addition to “Nice of France”, “Atalanta” and “Como of Italy”.
