The Bekaa region is witnessing a continuous field escalation, as Israeli aircraft carried out a series of air strikes since the early hours of dawn. These raids targeted various areas in the northern Bekaa, in particular the town of Nabi Sheet, located east of Baalbek, resulting in martyrs and wounded, in addition to severe damage.

Information reported that the number of Israeli raids on the Bekaa from dawn until the afternoon exceeded 12, and these raids resulted in the death of 4 people and the injury of 12 others as a preliminary toll.

In a later development, the reporter pointed out that there were casualties as a result of the recent raid that targeted the town of Nabi Sheet, amid reports of victims still under the rubble as a result of the recent targeting.

Preliminary information indicates that 8 people from one family were martyred in the raid that targeted the town of Nabi Sheet, while search operations and the removal of rubble in the area continue.

The town of Nabi Sheet was subjected earlier today to a series of successive Israeli raids, as a reporter reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the Nabi Sheet area – the plain, coinciding with an intense flight of Israeli fighters at a very low altitude over Baalbek and the northern Bekaa.

The reporter explained that the raids on the region were renewed and their number reached about 5 raids within a short period, in the context of the ongoing escalation affecting multiple areas in the Bekaa.
