TCL announced the launch of the “Tab A1 Plus” device, through which it seeks to regain its competitive position in the tablet market, expecting it to achieve good sales.
The device comes with a sturdy body made of aluminum and plastic, with a scratch- and shock-resistant glass screen. Its dimensions are (275.6/189.3/6.7) mm, and its weight is 542 grams. The device features protection against water and dust according to the IP54 standard, and supports the use of a smart pen to write, draw on the screen, and control applications.
The device is equipped with a 12.2-inch IPS LCD screen, which displays images with a resolution of (2400/1600) pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of up to 550 nits, and a pixel density of about 236 pixels per inch.
The device runs on an updateable “Android-16” operating system, and is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, in addition to an Adreno 613 graphics processor, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage that can be expanded using microSDXC cards.
The device’s rear camera is 8-megapixel and can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second, while the front camera is 5-megapixel.
TCL added to the device four high-quality speakers, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology for transferring data and connecting to other devices. It is also equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. (Russia Today)
