As the military tension continued, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an urgent appeal to the residents of southern Lebanon, urging them to leave their homes immediately and head north towards the Litani River, warning of the danger of staying near places claimed to belong to Hezbollah.
Adraee explained that Hezbollah’s actions prompted the Israeli army to respond with force, stressing that the Israeli army “does not intend to harm civilians.”
He called on residents to immediately leave their homes and stay away from any sites, individuals, or buildings linked to Hezbollah, considering that anyone who stays close to these places “endangers his life.”
He also warned that any house used for military purposes could become a potential target, calling on residents to immediately go north of the Litani River for their safety.
He also warned that any movement south could threaten the lives of civilians due to ongoing military operations.
This warning comes in light of a major and accelerating military escalation on the Lebanese front in recent days, as Israel intensified its air strikes on various areas in Lebanon.
During the past few hours, the southern suburb of Beirut witnessed a series of Israeli raids targeting the areas of Hadath, Al-Laylaki, and Haret Hreik, after repeated warnings issued by the Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, in which he called on residents to evacuate specific buildings before they were bombed.
