Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawiyeh reported that the army carried out an attack on a secret complex dubbed “Min-Zada’i,” claiming that it was being used by the Iranian regime with the aim of developing the capabilities necessary to produce nuclear weapons.
It indicated that this raid came within the framework of Operation “Lion’s Roar,” in which several sites belonging to what it described as the Iranian nuclear weapons team affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Defense were targeted, with the aim of influencing military nuclear capabilities.
She stated that this site included nuclear scientists working to develop a key component of the nuclear weapon system, adding that the intelligence service monitored their activities and determined the location of their new meeting inside a fortified underground site, which allowed for a precise strike on the complex.
It stressed that this strike “removes a pivotal element of Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon,” and is part of a series of operations aimed at removing what Israel considers a nuclear threat.
The Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, also stated that the Air Force attacked dozens of sites designated for launching missiles, and was able to disable about 300 missile platforms since the start of Operation “Lion’s Roar.”
He explained that hundreds of warplanes and air units participated during the past 24 hours in attacking hundreds of targets inside Iran and Lebanon, as part of continuous waves of raids targeting ballistic missile systems and air defense systems.
He pointed out that since the beginning of the operation, the Air Force has carried out more than 1,600 offensive air sorties and dropped about 4,000 shells in various regions of Iran, as part of organized efforts targeting launch pads and missile stockpiles with the aim of reducing launches towards Israel.
