The “Israel in Arabic” page on the “X” platform published a blog post that highlighted a report published by the “Ynet” website, alleging the existence of a “financial empire” run by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
According to the aforementioned report, Khamenei heads several huge investment funds worth billions of dollars, most notably the “Setad” organization (the Imam’s Order Implementation Authority), which was originally established with the aim of managing and confiscating opposition property, before its activities expanded to include various sectors such as energy, communications, and construction.
The report also explained that this institution operates far from the usual regulatory systems and enjoys great financial freedom, making it one of the most important economic centers affiliated with the Supreme Leader’s Office.
The blog post also touched on the role played by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, noting its presence in vital economic sectors inside Iran, and its connection to huge projects and financial networks of influence.
The Israeli page presented this information in a harshly critical context, confirming that there is a large discrepancy between the difficult economic situation in Iran – including inflation and the depreciation of the currency – and what it described as the possession of enormous financial assets by institutions linked to the regime.
The post was accompanied by an image created using artificial intelligence, showing Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei sitting behind a large desk, surrounded by multiple robotic arms extending in different directions, in a scene that reflects control and ramifications.
These robotic arms carry bags of money and files with titles such as “Personal Accounts” and “London Properties,” as well as maps and screens displaying global financial routes. Behind him are also visible maps of the world and digital paintings, indicating a network of influence that transcends borders. The office appears to be surrounded by large amounts of money and gold bullion, with an identification plaque in front of him stating his official position.
The image is based on the “octopus” symbolism common in political cartoons, where multiple arms represent widespread financial or political influence. The artwork has a clear propaganda nature, reinforcing the narrative of a centralized financial network that manages vast resources.
