The Middle East Airlines – Lebanese Airways issued a press release today, Sunday, bearing the number (3), announcing the cancellation of a number of its flights scheduled for March 2, 2026. The reason for the cancellation is due to the closure of airspace in most countries of the region, as a result of the current conditions and developments.

According to the statement, the canceled flights are:

Beirut – Dubai / Dubai – Beirut (“426 ME – 427 ME”)

Beirut – Amman / Amman – Beirut (“310 ME – 311 ME”) – The cancellation affects the morning flight only, with the evening flight continuing as usual.

Beirut – Kuwait / Kuwait – Beirut (“404 ME – 405 ME”)

Beirut – Riyadh / Riyadh – Beirut (“424 ME – 425 ME”)

Beirut – Doha / Doha – Beirut (“436 ME – 437 ME”)

Beirut – Baghdad / Baghdad – Beirut (“322 ME – 323 ME”)

Beirut – Abu Dhabi / Abu Dhabi – Beirut (“418 ME – 419 ME”)

Beirut – Dubai / Dubai – Beirut (“428 ME – 429 ME”)

The statement indicated that the rest of the international flights heading to: Lagos, Abidjan, Geneva, London, Brussels, Milan, Frankfurt, Madrid, Jeddah, Larnaca, Paris, Istanbul, Cairo, Riyadh, and the Amman evening flight, will remain committed to their original schedules.

The company also announced the activation of “Policy Ticketing Flexible” as of Saturday, February 28, 2026, which includes:

Free rebooking in the same class once.

Full refund of unused tickets without any fees.
