The spokesman for the Israeli Defense Forces, Avichay Adraee, announced through his account on “X” that the Israeli forces are continuing their operations to destroy missile launch sites and thwart any attempts to target Israeli territory.
He stated that the army redoubled its efforts aimed at neutralizing the dangers facing the Israeli interior, and succeeded in destroying several missile platforms that were prepared to be launched towards the Israeli population.
He also pointed out that during air attacks carried out by the Air Force in western Iran, a group of individuals belonging to the Iranian regime’s surface-to-surface missile unit were monitored preparing a missile platform and preparing it for an imminent launch towards Israel.
He continued, saying that the army discovered this threat and carried out a quick strike targeting the personnel and the platform, which led to the suppression of the launch operation.
He stressed that the IDF will continue to work to eliminate every danger lurking against the citizens of Israel, “all the time and in every place,” as the statement put it.
