Representative Hassan Ezz El-Din, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, confirmed that Lebanon “is facing a ceasefire agreement that has not been implemented,” considering that “talking about any other agreement is throwing dust in the eyes.”

In statements he made to Al-Mayadeen TV, Ezz El-Din pointed out that “Israel’s practices in the border villages confirm its intention to stabilize the sites it occupied,” stressing that this matter is “in the hands of the state and the government.”

Regarding the government’s decision regarding the exclusivity of weapons in accordance with the Taif Agreement, Izz al-Din described the decision as a “sin,” explaining that it “pertains to militia weapons while excluding resistance weapons.”

He asked: “What sovereignty are we talking about in Lebanon? Is it embodied in Israeli encroachment or Washington’s interference in Lebanese affairs?”

Ezz El-Din stressed that “in the oath letter and the ministerial statement there is a reference to carrying out due dates on time, and we support this approach, which is considered self-evident.”

He continued, saying, “Israel’s primary goal is to disarm power from Lebanon, so that it can occupy its land the next day,” stressing that “the resistance weapon is a defense weapon for the homeland, and it will remain, and we are continuing to exercise our right to defend our land.”
