The Minister of Labor, Dr. Mohamed Haider, met this morning with a delegation from the National Social Security Fund Employees Union. The delegation was headed by Captain Hassan Houmani, and the meeting was attended by the Advisor for Security Affairs, Dr. Bassam Alliq.
Houmani stated that this visit aims to thank the Minister for his tireless efforts in dealing with issues related to social security, whether those concerning employees or those insured. He also noted the importance of the measures being implemented with the aim of developing the Fund’s performance and strengthening its role.
On the other hand, Minister Haider appreciated the role played by employees of the National Social Security Fund, especially in light of the significant shortage in the number of employees. He stressed that continuing to work and provide services despite the difficulties represents a solid foundation for maintaining societal stability. He also stressed that “social security is his top priority,” and that work is underway to address the outstanding issues, in a way that guarantees the rights of those insured and enhances the Fund’s ability to “perform its tasks.”
