On Thursday, King Charles III of Britain issued his first comment on the arrest of his brother, Prince Andrew, saying: “Justice must take its course.”

British police announced earlier Thursday the arrest of Prince Andrew on suspicion of violations during his tenure as the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for International Trade.

In a statement signed by King Charles, the following was stated: “Now the matter will follow its full and fair course, and this case will be investigated in the appropriate manner and by the relevant authorities.”

The king also added: “In this context, and as I mentioned previously, they enjoy our full support and cooperation.”

The King concluded his statement by emphasizing: “Let me state clearly: justice must take its course.”

It is noteworthy that the arrest of the former prince comes against the backdrop of files related to the Epstein case, as investigations continue to reveal the details and circumstances of the case.
