The name of the Algerian international player, Mohamed Elamine Amoura, is still a topic of conversation in Germany, especially with news circulating about the difficulty of dealing with his file within the Wolfsburg club in recent weeks, after his return from the “2025” African Cup finals. According to what was reported by German media, the player faced challenges in regaining his level with the team for sporting and “disciplinary” reasons.
“Kicker” newspaper shed light on Amora’s situation through an interview with Wolfsburg coach Daniel Bauer, who confirmed that the player “kept the lesson” after what he described as his recent “transgressions.”
Bauer said: “Amora memorized the lesson. He understood that the law is above everyone else within the club, and he paid the price by not attending our match against Cologne previously, and things returned to normal.” He added: “We must always find the required balance in such cases. It is true that his absence from us previously affected us negatively, but as I said, the law applies to everyone.”
The coach concluded his speech by saying: “On the other hand, Amora remains a unique talent, and we place the necessary confidence in him to perform at great levels in the future.”
It is noteworthy that Ammoura scored a goal in his team’s last match in the German League against Leipzig, and attention is now turning to his expected performance next Saturday against Augsburg.
Available information indicates that Ammoura is considered one of Wolfsburg’s key players this season, having contributed to 10 goals in the 19 matches he has played so far. (Al Ain)
