The Office of the Prime Minister announced that, in response to the directives of “His Excellency the Prime Minister” issued on Monday, February 9, 2026, field and administrative efforts continue in accordance with the comprehensive plan aimed at preserving the security of citizens and providing the required social, health and technical response.
The office stated that, so far, 16 buildings in danger of collapsing have been evacuated, 161 families were evacuated from these buildings, temporary accommodation was provided for all 46 families who requested it, and restoration operations began for 7 buildings that could be repaired, based on technical evaluations.
Moreover, all families were registered and benefited from the “Aman” programs of the Ministry of Social Affairs, to ensure continued social support for them, and the health care program of the Ministry of Public Health.
The office stressed to all concerned parties the importance of continuous daily follow-up to ensure the rapid and accurate implementation of these directives.
