Yassin Jaber believes that raising the level of the Lebanese University represents a fundamental pillar for reviving the country, by building a healthy society that relies on its young scientific energies, and helps strengthen the ties between the Lebanese people.
During his meeting with the President of the Lebanese University, Bassam Badran, Jaber expressed his happiness with the development witnessed by the National University, noting that its faculties have begun to overcome the challenges they faced in the past years.
He explained that the university is on the verge of achieving an important achievement, represented by the Lebanese government’s approval of the full-time file for contract professors, stressing that work is underway to seriously activate this file, because of its direct academic impact and the positive results it leaves at the economic and social levels for university professors.
Jaber discussed with Badran various issues of the Lebanese University, paying special attention to the sabbatical issue.
