Real Madrid fans received sad news about the injury of English team star Jude Bellingham.
The “Royal” club had previously announced that “Bellingham” was injured during the “Rayo Vallecano” match, which ended with the team winning by two goals to one in the framework of the “Spanish League” competitions.
Although the initial diagnosis of the injury was a muscle strain in the thigh, subsequent medical examinations revealed an injury to the semitendinosus muscle, which necessitated his absence from the “Valencia” match, which the team won 2-0.
While expectations initially indicated that Bellingham would be absent for about a month, Ramon Alvarez, a journalist for the Radio Marca network, stated that the recovery period could reach two full months.
If these expectations are correct, about which no official statement has been issued by “Real Madrid” yet, the English star is expected to return next April, which means his absence from a large number of important matches, most notably the two matches with “Benfica of Portugal” in the “UEFA Champions League.”
Bellingham will also miss the matches between Real Sociedad, Osasuna, Getafe, Celta Vigo, and Elche, in addition to the Atletico Madrid match in the Spanish League.
“Real Madrid” currently occupies second place in the “Spanish League” standings with 57 points, one point behind the leaders “Barcelona”, at a critical stage of the season, which makes the absence of “Bellingham” a source of great concern for the club’s supporters in the struggle to compete for titles.
