Beirut – The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, stressed the necessity of raising the level of security preparedness and being strict in enforcing the laws, stressing that the current stage does not tolerate any tolerance for attempts to disrupt security or undermine the stability of the country.

In field matters, Aoun called for preventing armed demonstrations and confiscating weapons and ammunition, in addition to accelerating investigations and referring violators to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal measures against them.
Regarding the south, the President of the Republic requested strengthening the presence of the Internal Security Forces, Public Security, and State Security in southern villages and towns not under Israeli occupation, with the aim of providing reassurance to the people and facilitating the completion of their transactions and their access to administrative services.
