South Lebanon: Khreis confirms the continuation of steadfastness without retreat

Member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, MP Ali Khreis, confirmed that the steadfastness of the people of the south continues and is irreversible despite the repeated Israeli bombing and attacks, praising the great sacrifices made by the civil defense members of the “Islamic Message Scouts” Association and their constant standing by the people in various circumstances and tribulations.

Khreis’s position came during a celebration organized by the “Amal” Movement – Maaroub Division in the town’s stadium hall under his auspices, and witnessed the delivery of ready-made vehicles and houses to the Civil Defense Division in the “Martyr Musa Fneish Regiment.” The celebration was attended by the mayor of Maaroub, Hassan Talal Fneish, members of the municipal council, mayors of the region and the neighborhood, in addition to movement and scout leaders.

The celebration began with the national anthem and the anthems of the “Amal” movement and the Islamic Message Scouts, followed by a speech by Representative Khreis in which he stressed the heroic role of the Civil Defense members, pointing out that they were at the forefront of those attending the town of Srifa despite the dangers and the Israeli bombing that targeted their center there. He described them as “security, security, and the best of Lebanon’s youth,” stressing that it is not possible to imagine a future for Lebanon without their presence.

Khreis praised the association’s constant presence over decades on the front lines in defense and protection of humanity, recalling its martyrs and wounded and the steadfastness of its members in villages threatened by daily bombing. He considered that this steadfastness reflects a deep belief and firm commitment to standing by the people, in the face of what he described as “Israeli arrogance and barbarism.”

Khreis concluded his speech by thanking all the parties supporting the association with ambulances and equipment, stressing that the national duty imposes building Lebanon the final homeland for all its people with an area of 10,452 square kilometers, according to the thought of Imam Musa al-Sadr, considering the south the basic and most important part of the map of the homeland.

The celebration concluded with the delivery of machinery, equipment and prefabricated houses to the Civil Defense Division.
