A depression hits the country today: thunderstorms and strong winds in preparation for a weather change during the holiday

The volatile autumn weather continues in Lebanon today, affected by a depression centered southwest of Turkey, where clouds multiply and scattered rain falls, sometimes intensifying and accompanied by active winds and the possibility of lightning and thunder, coinciding with the formation of fog that obscures vision on mountain roads. The effects of this low are expected to continue until Sunday, with the wave of volatility renewed on Monday.

In details, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with stable temperatures, and rain is distributed unevenly between the regions, with chances of precipitation likely to increase in the capital, Beirut, in the afternoon and during the evening, and to gradually decline during the night.

Active southwesterly winds blow at speeds between 15 and 45 km/h, and the humidity on the coast is between 60 and 80%, while saturation is moderate on the coast and sometimes bad over the highlands due to fog. The sea is wavy, the water surface temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, and the atmospheric pressure is 1015 hectopascals.

The expected temperatures in various Lebanese regions are as follows:
– Beirut: between 22 and 28 degrees.
– Tripoli and Tire: between 18 and 28 degrees.
– Sidon: between 19 and 26 degrees.
– Zahle: between 13 and 26 degrees.
– Baysour: between 13 and 21 degrees.
– Cordoba: between 12 and 20 degrees.
– Nabatieh: between 18 and 24 degrees.
– Baalbek: between 10 and 20 degrees.

Moving on to the forecast for the coming days, the weather will remain partly cloudy tomorrow, Saturday, with fog in the highlands and a slight rise in temperatures, and light and scattered rain will fall during the day, interspersed with wide periods of relief, with the weather gradually stabilizing during the night.

On Sunday, the weather will turn partly cloudy and cloudy, with an additional rise in temperatures, especially over the mountains and inland. However, this stability will be temporary, as expectations indicate the return of weather fluctuations on Monday, accompanied by a drop in temperatures, scattered rain, active winds, and the possibility of lightning and thunder.
