Political analyst Ismail Al-Najjar confirmed that any possible fall of the town of “Ali Al-Tahir” would be met with direct intervention from Iran, stressing the importance of field positions in determining the course of events in the region.
In a separate context, Al-Najjar directed sharp criticism at the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, describing him as “the disgraced Lebanese Foreign Minister,” as part of his reading of the Lebanese political and diplomatic scene and its regional interactions.
