TCL officially announced the launch of its latest smart tablet computer, “Tab A1 NxtPaper,” which is designed to be one of the most prominent competing devices in the market in terms of technical specifications and powerful performance.
The device comes with an elegant structure that combines aluminum and glass that is resistant to shocks and scratches, with dimensions of (251.3/163.2/6.2) mm and a weight of 426 grams. It supports the “IP54” standard for resistance to water and dust, and is accompanied by a smart pen intended for writing and drawing. The computer was equipped with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen, a display resolution of (2112/1320) pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a brightness of up to 500 nits/square meter, and a pixel density of about 226 pixels per inch.
In terms of performance, the device runs on the updateable Android 16 operating system, and includes a Mediatek Helio G100 processor and a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor, supported by 6 GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 128 GB, expandable via microSDXC chips.
Regarding photographic capabilities and accessories, the computer includes an 8-megapixel primary camera capable of documenting 1080p videos at 30 frames per second, and a 5-megapixel front camera. TCL also provided the device with four high-performance speakers, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, and an 8,000 mAh battery that works with a 20-watt charger.
