Volkswagen has taken a confident step towards providing an electric camping experience that combines classic character with modern comfort, after unveiling the new version “ID. California Cruise”, which is an electric camper van based on the “ID. Buzz” model.
Thanks to the fully electric propulsion system, “ID. California Cruise” promises a camping experience far from the traditional nature, as the power system on board the car allowed “Volkswagen” to add a group of practical equipment and innovations.
The cabin includes a foldable mattress designed specifically for the car, 1.2 meters wide and just over two meters long. The mattress is placed over the rear seats, before being folded and stored in a designated space near the back door when not in use.
The car comes with a set of camping equipment, including two foldable chairs and a table that can be stored in a designated space above the mattress.
The equipment also includes ventilation holes and covers designed to block light from the windshield and windows. Cars equipped with a panoramic roof also get a cover that blocks light from the roof.
Customized storage compartments were designed inside the car to accommodate all these equipment and arrange them in a practical manner. (Erm News)
