The Suzhou-based company says that the platform is designed to provide an integrated environment for developing robots, through a small human skeleton, an artificial intelligence-based architecture, and open interfaces for developers.
The first batch of the Bridge Geek Edition is now available for purchase, giving developers and researchers access to the company’s new embodied robotics platform.
Zeroth also launched the Bridge Builder Program, which invites developers from around the world to create and contribute new robotics capabilities and skills to the open source OpenBridge ecosystem.
The project comes within the framework of a growing trend towards making robots more capable of learning and adapting to different tasks and environments, rather than being limited to executing a specific set of pre-programmed commands.
