The assembly pointed out that Prime Minister Nawaf Salam included on the agenda of the Council of Ministers the issue of withdrawing the license of the “Lebanese Arts Association – Rasalat”, stressing that this measure represents a repression of freedom of opinion and expression and violates human rights.
The Assembly called on the Council of Ministers to act with responsibility, and the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, to protect the constitution and ensure freedom of opinion and expression, warning that the slipping of matters towards a mass confrontation may lead to the fall of the government.
The gathering also denounced the procedures of Justice Minister Adel Nassar related to the American definition of terrorism, considering that these decisions are narrowing the resistance and violating the law of human rights, calling for their immediate abolition.
The gathering announced its support for the decision of the “Ham” movement regarding the Trump project to resolve the Gaza crisis, calling for an end to the genocide and the restoration of the normal life of the Palestinian territories.
